The Reds and Pirates got into a scuffle on Sunday, resulting in new Reds outfielder Yasiel Puig showcasing his trademark anger.
Pirates pitcher Chris Archer gave up a home run to Derek Dietrich of the Reds, which insulted Archer in that he felt like Dietrich stared down the home run for too long. During his next at-bat, Archer threw behind Dietrich, which prompted a bench-clearing scuffle.
That’s when Puig came out and went straight for Archer and had to be held back by a couple teammates. Melky Cabrera soon intervened, along with Puig’s teammate Joey Votto, in an attempt to calm Puig down. That worked for all of 30 seconds before Puig escaped and tried to charge at Archer, leading to another scrum between both benches.

Maybe Puig is just angry because he’s playing for the Reds.
